Detroit police safely remove pipe bomb from home
Detroit police say they’ve safely removed a pipe bomb from a home on the city’s east side after responding to a domestic disturbance.
Police Sgt. Eren Stephens tells The Detroit News that a 23-year-old woman told officers her 41-year-old step-father assaulted her early Monday. Stephens says the man was gone by the time police arrived but they found several weapons and the pipe bomb.
